There are many ways to get to Palestine.  At the present time you can arrive by land
via Jordan or Israel. If you begin your journey in Jordan you will cross the Allenby Bridge or the Sheikh Hussein Bridge; or you can arrive through Israel via Ben Gurion Airport.

Entry Requirements:

No Visa is required to enter Palestine except that of the country via which Palestine is
accessible like Israel or Jordan and is subject to these countries visa requirements (i.e. medical report, etc.)

The passport must be valid for at least six months.

Normally a visitor is authorized to remain in the region for three months.

Customs & Traditions

The population of the main Palestinian cities namely, Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Jericho,
Ramallah, and Nablus are familiarized to see foreign tourists and deal with them. Generally, they are friendly with strangers, and ready to help and benefit from them. Yet, in other cities, villages and camps, people, though more conservative, they are
very friendly, more curious to get acquainted with them. Most population of the
Palestinian districts are Sunni Moslem Arabs. Palestinian community is fatherly
conservative, despite some liberated signs, which may be observed in the main
cities, particularly West Bank mid-cities: Jerusalem,  Rammallah, and Bethlehem.
Foreign tourists can buy and drink alcohols in the areas in the main tourist areas such Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Ramallah and Jericho.

Attire  

Palestine is primarily a Muslim country, although the freedom of all religions is protected. Muslim women’s clothing often covers their arms, legs and hair. Western women are not subject to these customs, but very revealing clothing is never appropriate and conservative dress is advisable for both men and women. Shorts are rarely worn  by either sex, and would be out of place in most areas. Topless sunbathing is prohibited and one-piece swimsuits are preferred.
